The Chattanooga plant is excited to have reached the homestretch of its plan to hire and train more than 2,000 employees. The plant passed the 1,500-employee mark, all of whom will be responsible for building the 2011 Passat. In fact, in total, the Chattanooga Operations now employs 1,516 people. 12,000 Jobs!

Volkswagen Group of America’s CEO Jonathan Browning revealed the all-new 2012 Passat to the world at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Mich.

The new Passat, designed in Germany with American tastes and lifestyles in mind, will be built in our Chattanooga, Tenn. plant, which is one of the world’s newest and most advanced auto assembly plants. Read more »

One of Volkswagen’s newest dealerships opened its doors in December 2009 in the Dallas suburb of McKinney. On May 12, 2010, they had their official grand opening celebration. The dealership currently employs approximately 40 individuals from the north Dallas area.
